Zebras are well known for their unique set of stripes. It sets them apart from other wild animals. Yet, while the stripes on a zebra are just as unique as a human’s fingerprints, their coats blend in such a way that a predator has trouble singling one zebra out from the herd when many of them stand together. The zebra is a creature who enjoys being an individual, who enjoys being unique, but still values being a part of a community. If she were welcomed into your home, the best place for her to make an impression would be where everyone can see her, in a place where she can also feel included during family interactions.
